One of my favorite travel bloggers recently has been Johnny at
OneStep4Ward.com. Johnny is a travel pro from Ireland. He began by traveling to China to teach English after he graduated from "uni" in order to to get traveling out of his system before he settled into a normal life. But life had other plans, and 6 years and 50 countries later he's
redesigned his lifestyle into something he loves. He's seen Orangutans in Borneo, hiked to the Mt. Everest base camp, backpacked in North Korea (no joke), and been cage diving with sharks--the list goes on.
OneStep4ward has a ton of inspiring photos, posts, and
quotes as well as some really helpful traveling
tips. His advice on using Chinese
trains and
backpacking through China was particularly interesting to me! The cost of staying at a hostel in China makes me drool ($5-8/night?!), not to mention he described them as the
best in the world. Anyone want to backpack through China with me?
